The right kind of true religion

1.  The true religion that God rejects.

• The problem of our religion can be that it is –
• Selfish
• Hypocritical
• Superficial

2.   The true religion that God accepts.

• True religion that God accepts is characterised by its practical concern for –
• The oppressed
• The hungry
• The homeless
• The naked
• The needy
• God promises that we will be –
• lights in a dark world
• accompanied by him
• heard when we pray
• guided though life
• refreshed when we’re weary
• honoured restorers of his holy city
• joyful in obeying his commands
