We boast in the cross of Jesus because by it alone…
1)…can sinners like us have a saving relationship with God
2)…have we broken with the old world and become part of a new creation
3)…are God’s peace and mercy given to his people

Galatians 6:14–16 (Listen)
14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which1 the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
